 Dr. Mark Mueller
|
Dr. Mark Mueller graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1987, and has been practicing in Tomah ever since. What was planned as a one or two year trial, to gain experience, has evolved into a lifetime commitment to the area.
After a short time, he came to love the abundant recreational opportunities available in this part of the state, while getting to know the people, finding a very caring and welcoming attitude that made him want to practice his entire career here.
|
From 1991 to 2004, he continually added more space and staff to handle an ever expanding patient base, until he finally ran out of room and needed to build a new facility in 2004, which is where we are currently located. His vision of a very warm, comfortable practice facility came to fruition in November, 2004 with the opening of Deer Creek Dental Clinic, located on 16 acres of beautifully landscaped property in the heart of Tomah. Here he and his staff can utilize all of their advanced training with the state of the art equipment now available.
Dr. Mueller has had advanced training in all phases of general dentistry, but especially in relation to cosmetic dentistry. Most everyone has been exposed to the rapid advancement in cosmetic procedures through television shows such as Extreme Makeover, The Swan, etc. What a lot of people don't know is that Dr. Mueller and his staff are doing such procedures on a regular basis here in Tomah.
Our team believes in providing exceptional quality dental care, using only the best techniques and materials available - treating our patients with the same level of care our own families receive. There is no greater reward in our profession than to see the wonderful new smiles that we create for our patients. It is often a life changing experience.

 Dr. Deborah L. Marynak
|
I spent the first four years following graduation from high school (1969) working as a dental laboratory technician. My predominate course of training was in the production of all-porcelain crowns. Approximately two years into my training as a dental tech, I decided to further my education academically.
I graduated from Normandale Junior College School of Dental Hygiene in June of 1974. Within 3 months, I had decided to return to school to fulfill my prerequisites for application to Dental School.
|
I was one of 14 students selected for the Class of 1980-1984 without a Bachelor's Degree. I achieved my B.S. at the end of my second year of Dental School and my D.D.S. in June of 1984, both from the University of Minnesota.
Not knowing what direction I wanted to take, I was offered a position at the Fort Thompson-Lower Brule Indian Reservation. I spent 6 months working on very dentally challenged patients and quickly became very proficient at surgical extractions and root canal treatments.
I spent one year in private practice as an associate with a leading clinician in West St. Paul, but soon wanted to try a practice of my own. On January 15th, 1986, I spent my first day in my own practice. Practicing predominately general dentistry, I soon found myself becoming a continuing education junkie-still searching for the direction I wanted to take.
It wasn't until about 1996 when I was working with my periodontist that he asked me if it would be ok for him to make a suggestion regarding my future. He recommended I take a course in cosmetic dentistry and my whole career took a turn in another direction. He then encouraged me in the direction of occlusion and TMJ dysfunction and my entire clinical focus turned to cosmetics and function. My study and skill development in these areas has been the most professionally rewarding work I've ever done to date; it really does change lives.
Dr. Marynak has completed, extensive training for cosmetics, through the Amara Institue in Cosmetics.
