Meet our Staff
	Karen Sue - Office Manager Karen Sue’s understanding of the various needs related to our practice as a whole and her ‘owner mind-set’ is the foundation of her success as our Office Manager. She has been a key part of the dental office since Dr. Mueller opened his own practice in 1991. She has attended numerous Continued Education courses to enhance her overall skill. Most recently, she has received a certificate in “Dental Office Management” and is a current member of American Association of Dental Office Managers. She is known to the staff for her motivational techniques, enthusiastic attitude and as being the back bone of the practice. Her creative ideas inspires those she leads and encourages team members to pursue interests that will not only teach them advanced areas of dentistry but gives them knowledge to carry throughout their career. With her patience and understanding, she goes with the flow, seeing difficulties as a challenge, not an obstacle. Over the years she has grown in her career and built lifetime relationships with team members and patients, grasping every opportunity to exceed patients' needs and expectations. She is most inspired, as is as every team member, with making Deer Creek Dental thrive and grow with the community.

	Amanda - Treatment Coordinator One of the first smiling faces you will meet at Deer Creek is our Treatment Coordinator. With her experience and enthusiastic attitude she will assure you that great smiles happen here. She graduated from WWTC in 2001 and has experience in several aspects of dental care, including: Orthodontics, Oral Surgery and Pediatric Dentistry. She loves helping people achieve their goal of a dynamic, healthy smile.

	Mindy - Dental Assistant Mindy became a patient of Dr. Mueller’s at the age of 5, which helped drive her desire to be a part of a dynamic dental team. After graduating from THS in 2005, she joined the Deer Creek team as a Dental Assistant. She enjoys all aspects of the dental field. She is a fast learner and has the capability of working all tasks, administratively and clinically. Her outgoing personality and warm smile welcomes you to your treatment room. Her knowledge of our administration allows her to easily communicate and answer any questions you may have regarding your treatment, insurance or assisting you in reserving an appointment. She enjoys building patient relationships and giving you the most positive experience during your visit. She is a very important asset to our team! Her computer-savvy knowledge contributes to her management of the Deer Creek website, allowing her to also enjoy the challenges of the ever-advancing technology of our office.

	Jackie - Insurance Coordinator We were excited to have Jackie join our team in 2008. She brings with her 7 years of experience in public relations. She is new to the dental profession, but her past job experiences have made her career transition a smooth one. Her outgoing personality helps to make our patients feel welcome in our practice. Jackie will work with you on any insurance or scheduling needs you may have. She is a great asset to our team and a wonderful person to work with.

	Karen B - Dental Assistant Karen began the Dental Assistant Program at WTC in 1998. Her first clinical assignment was in Tomah with Dr. Mark Mueller. In January 2000, a full-time assisting position became available and we welcomed her aboard. Over the past nine years, Karen has been a true asset to our team! She is proud to be a part of the continued advancement in dentistry at Deer Creek. She is a very warm, kind individual which will make your experience a comfortable one. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, which is one of her favorite hobbies. She enjoys reading and traveling, as well as spending time outdoors with her husband Josh. At the end of the day, her Basset Hound Abby, always puts a smile on her face.

	Tessa - Patient Coordinator We were excited to welcome our newest team member, Tessa. She is new to the dental profession, but her past job experiences have made her career transition a smooth one. Her outgoing friendly personality, helps to make our patients feel welcome in our practice. Tessa will greet you with a warm welcome and assit you in scheduling. She is a great asset to our team and a wonderful person to work with. She is active in our local area community theater and has a Bachelor Degree in Liberal Arts. We look forward to her creativity and passion for her new career.

	Wendy - Hygiene Assistant For the last 10 years Wendy has enjoyed her career as a Dental Assistant. She came to Deer Creek as a patient, but was so impressed with the doctors and staff and the newest technology, that when a position became available as a part-time assistant, she was elated to fill the position! She thoroughly enjoys serving the people of Monroe and surrounding counties, helping you to achieve your healthiest smile!

	Kay - Hygiene Coordinator Kay’s easy going demeanor and upbeat attitude make every experience at Deer Creek a positive one. Her recent transition to Hygiene Coordinator, from dental assisting, has allowed her to assist patients in achieving top-quality oral health. Kay’s diverse talents allow her to completely perform any task assigned. Not only does she take great impressions she will leave you with a unforgettable one!

	Johnnie - Registered Dental Hygienist Johnnie, our senior hygienist, has been a member of Dr. Mueller’s team since 1996. Her natural ability to relate to her patients will provide you with a comfortable and relaxed experience. With her 25 years of experience in the dental field, she has established many long-term patients and each day looks forward to meeting someone new.

	Hannah - Registered Dental Hygienist Hannah has been a hygienist for 7 years and employed here at Deer Creek for 5 years. She earned an Associate of Arts Degree from the University of Eau Claire and her Dental Hygiene Degree from Wausau, WI. She then obtained her license to administer anesthetic from the University of Minnesota. Hannah often gets compliments on her pain-free anesthetic delivery and her thorough clinical skills. She enjoys working in a state of the art practice with the latest in technology. She strives to give the best care by coordinating our extensive Periodontal Therapy Program. When not at Deer Creek she enjoys spending time with her husband and active young daughter.

	Michelle - Registered Dental Hygienist Upon meeting Michelle, one will always receive a warm welcome to our office. Many patients appreciate Michelle’s gentle touch. Her attention to detail and her patient rapport increases our patients awareness of overall dental health. We are confident that you will be impressed with Michelle’s dental knowledge and skill with periodontal care, and you will surely have a very pleasant experience.

	Danelle - Registered Dental Hygienist Danelle started out as a patient of Dr. Mueller’s when she was 18. Initially thinking that nursing was the career choice for her, she was excited when Dr. Mueller opened her eyes to the Dental field and suggested Dental Hygiene. Needless to say, it was the perfect match for the bubbly, high-spirited hygienist she is today. She joined the Deer Creek Dental team in 2005 after graduating from MATC with a Dental Hygiene degree and a license to administer anesthetic. The most rewarding part of her career is seeing the positive changes in her patient’s oral health and esthetics. Danelle’s hard work and dedication towards the Give Kids A Smile program has helped organize free dental care to the young children for the past few years. Her understanding and compassionate relationships with her patients and her skill at communicating their needs, fosters an evident boost in their self esteem. Her outgoing personality and loveable laugh blends with our patients to create a goal focused team approach in developing better dental and overall health.

	Tania - Registered Dental Hygienist Tania has been a hygienist at Deer Creek for 2 years after graduating from WWTC. She was motivated to become a Registered Dental Hygienist by her family members dental phobia and strives to give patients an enjoyable dental experience. She enjoys being a member of such a fun and outgoing staff that shares her passion for dentistry. Tania’s patients always seen to leave with a smile. In her spare time she is planning a wedding for the Spring of 2010!
